Medical Quality Pregnancy Testing

At Options for Women Cornerstone, we know how important it is to you to receive accurate results and the best care possible. That's why we only use medical quality, laboratory rated urine pregnancy tests. Our tests are 97-99% accurate.  A positive result may qualify you for Medical Assistance if other criteria are met. Most women will produce enough hCG hormone to be detected one week after a missed period, some as soon as 7 days after conception. If your pregnancy test is positive, the next step is to schedule a no-cost ultrasound to determine the viability of your pregnancy and how far along you are.

 

 

Limited Obstetrical Ultrasounds

Options for Women Cornerstone provides a no-cost ultrasound (usually at 7-8 weeks after conception) to determine viability and number of weeks your pregnancy has progressed. The heartbeat, which begins 21-24 days after conception, indicates viability, as does location in the uterus. Implantation elsewhere is dangerous and requires immediate medical attention. STD Testing & Education

Options for Women Cornerstone offers no-cost testing and treatment for the two most common STDs, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.  Being tested for STD's is an important and healthy practice for anyone who is in any way sexually active. The only way to know for sure if you or anyone else you've been intimate with has an STD is to get yourself tested. Schedule an appointment with one of our nurses today at no-cost, with no insurance needed. 

 

 

 

Earn While You Learn

An educational program before and after the birth of their babies allows caregivers to participate in classes on prenatal health, labor, delivery, and parenting. The points earned in our program can be used to purchase any number of items in our Baby Boutique! We have all the diapers, wipes, and new clothing a baby could need! Not to mention pack-n-plays, changing tables, strollers and more. Come visit our Baby Boutique to see what we have to offer!  
 

This program isn't just for moms who plan to parent either. Any woman can really benefit from the education that is offered through the program regarding budgeting, goal-setting, and job hunting!
